DIY Holiday Floral Decor
Holiday decor creates a warm and welcoming feeling as temperatures drop and the days grow shorter. A beautiful floral arrangement can be very expensive in home decor shops and catalogs. Save some money and have some fun. Create your own DIY Holiday Floral Planter. Check out the instructions below for a beautiful $7 holiday floral arrangement.

Supplies
I stopped at the Dollar Tree to grab supplies on the way home from work. If you order on-line they offer free shipping to your local store. I have also included a supply list for Amazon, but the project will cost more.
Assembling your holiday floral arrangement
It doesn’t get much easier than this project. The first step is to put the glass pebbles in the jar. This will help prevent the jar from tipping over when you add the flowers. I didn’t even have to add ribbon. My jar had a ribbon bow when I purchased it at Dollar Tree.
For the next step, I began inserting the poinsettias. I like the variety of my selection. One bunch had glitter, while the others had pine cones and berries.
You could consider it complete, but I decided to add a little extra sparkle with silver, green and gold pipe cleaners.
In order to make the pipe cleaners look a little more interesting, I twisted one end around my finger to create a loop.
Once I had all of the pipe cleaners prepared, I wrapped the straight end around the poinsettia stems to hold them in place.
Here’s the finished DIY holiday floral planter with the pipe cleaner accents. I like the added sparkle.
I needed a little extra holiday cheer on the back porch, so I placed it on our outdoor coffee table. So far, two packs of glass pebbles have been enough weight to prevent the planter from blowing over. Have you completed a similar project? If so, any tips, advice or inspiration to share?
All the best to you and your loved ones as you prepare to celebrate the holidays.
